J.Salem CPA does not share any client information obtained online with any third party provider. Potential clients will be contacted no more than twice without further requests by potential clients.
Accounting firms are privy to client Personal Identifiable Information (PII). J.Salem CPA addresses the responsibility of maintaining the security and confidentiality of PII received by the Firm in a Written Information Security Plan (WISP), per the requirements set forth by the Internal Revenue Service. The WISP sets forth our procedure for protecting PII against threats or hazards to security, and prevent unauthorized access or use of PII in a manner that create substantial risk of Identity Theft or Fraud by evaluating our electronic and physical methods of accessing, collecting, storing, using, transmitting, and protecting PII retained.
